Programmatic Manager / Specialist

Location: Remote / Hybrid (NYC Metro Preferred)

We are looking for a Programmatic Manager / Specialist to handle the hands-on setup and management of programmatic guaranteed (PG) and PMP deals. This is a tactical role focused on deal execution, QA, and troubleshooting across multiple SSPs and DSPs. The right candidate will be detail-driven, highly organized, and comfortable managing workflows end-to-end to ensure flawless delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Setup & Execution
    • Build and configure PG and PMP deals in SSPs and curation platforms as needed.
    • Input targeting, inventory packaging, and pricing according to partner specs and FanServ’s Supply requirements.
    • Perform QA checks to confirm deal functionality before launch.
  • Campaign Monitoring & Troubleshooting
    • Track pacing, spend, and delivery across active deals.
    • Identify and resolve delivery discrepancies, tag errors, or misalignments between SSPs and DSPs.
    • Escalate technical issues to platform partners and work toward resolution.
  • Partner Support
    • Support VP of Publisher Operations, Sr. Director of Programmatic Operations, sales, and publisher relations teams by translating deal requests into executable setups.
    • Communicate with SSPs, curation platforms, DSPs, and publishers to confirm technical alignment and resolve delivery issues.
  • Process & Documentation
    • Maintain internal trackers, logs, and documentation of deal setups.
    • Follow FanServ’s standardized workflows for trafficking and QA.
    • Suggest improvements to streamline deal setup and reduce errors.
  • Reporting
    • Generate pacing, delivery, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
    • Flag under-delivery risks early and recommend optimizations.
    • Work with Product to add reporting needs to the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on programmatic operations experience (CTV/digital video preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of PG and PMP deal setup within SSPs (e.g., Magnite, Index, FreeWheel, Publica, GAM).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly and see troubleshooting and solutions through to closure.
  • Proficient in Excel/Sheets and comfortable with reporting workflows.
  • Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to juggle multiple deal setups and monitoring tasks at once.
