Ad Operations Director

FanServ is a sports-focused digital advertising platform. We design and deploy integrated media solutions that are digital-first and tailored to reach exceptional results. We have combined a number of ad tech platforms (custom + partners) with our digital marketing expertise to help our clients build their businesses.

You will be responsible for trafficking media, setting up tags for performance tracking, troubleshooting, and providing data reporting. You will be an integral part of our team ensuring all traffic needs are met, campaign set up is complete and accurate, and client assets are delivered.  This role requires strong technical skills from a highly collaborative individual who is analytical and uses data-enabled problem-solving capabilities to deliver flawless campaign execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Optimize and manage digital media campaigns within respective platforms
  • Execute day-to-day digital media planning and campaign management with assigned accounts
  • Coordinate all tagging and integration efforts with third parties such as programmatic engines, ad verification partners and survey vendors
  • Analyze campaigns, and offer inventive solutions leading to improved campaign performance
  • Document optimization strategies and best practices 
  • Analysis of bid/win rates, clearing prices, and performance to constantly optimize performance
  • Work closely with the entire FanServ team to provide ongoing feedback to improve our platform 

What You’ll Know:

  • In-console experience with DSPs and exchange based media buying
  • Understanding of pixel deployment, custom events, tags and tracking code
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms
  • Experience with DoubleVerify, IAS, Moat, Sizmek a plus
  • Must be proficient with javascript, iFrame, and other HTML coding as it relates to ad serving and pixel implementation
  • Knowledgeable of all Tagging mechanisms with deep technical knowledge of how an ad is rendered from ad request to user viewing

  • Proficient with DSPs, Ad Servers, Web Analytics, and Tag Management Systems
  • Bonus: Familiarity with sports schedules, leagues, and teams
